White wine Tino Sur Lie is made from Vermentino and Sauvignon Blanc grapes. The grapes are grown on the south side of 30 year old vineyards at 200-220 m above sea level. After harvesting, the grapes are crushed and gently cleaned. The resulting must is fermented with selected yeasts in stainless steel tanks at a constant temperature of 15° C. After fermentation the wine is aged for 4 months and then matures yet another three months in bottles. The color is straw yellow with green hues. The aroma is intense and persistent with aromas of flowers, green apple, sage, acacia, tomatoes and capers. The taste is bright with a predominance of herbal notes, warm and full. Alcohol 13.5% vol.
Store in a dark place with a stable, cool temperature.
Serve the wine chilled to a temperature of 10-12° C. Open the wine just before serving. The wine goes well with pasta and fish dishes.
